Small Characters Before and After School Program for Fall 2026 is open for enrollment!
We are beginning to take enrollment reservations for the 2026-2027 school year for our before/after school program. The two schools that we provide care for are Kendrick Lakes Elementary and Golden View Classical Academy. If you are interested in reserving your spot, contact us today!
Preschool
We are a play-based fun and educational preschool program. We focus on the whole child: social/emotional, cognitive and physical development. We offer flexible scheduling to meet your family’s needs starting at 2 days a week. Schedule a tour today to see what we have to offer!

Introducing the Intergenerational Volunteer Program!
This fall Small Characters launched its newest program- an intergenerational volunteer program. It unites retired members of our community with our preschoolers. Our volunteers spend time reading to the children, playing games and having fun with them. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the generations. This is just one of the many ways Small Characters is an integral part of the Lakewood community!
