With a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, imaginative play and physical activities, our staff will keep your Small Characters busy and having fun. This is a place where small characters can dream big!

Early Releases & No School Days
At Small Characters, we realize that parent’s schedules don’t always align with school schedules. Let us help fill the gap! We offer a full day program (6:30 am to 6:00 pm) on no school days. We also pick up early on early release days.
At Small Characters we offer high quality school age care for children 5-12 years old during the breaks in the school schedules. We have a full summer camp program and we offer Thanksgiving/Winter/Spring break camps as well. We are here for working families because we know how hard it is to coordinate work schedules with school schedules.
We have completed the expansion to our playground!
Driven by a need for our school age kids to have more room to play basketball, do 4 square and throw a football, we have expanded our playground! The new space sits adjacent to the playground in the turnaround area of the driveway. It has an 8-foot privacy fence that encloses it with two large gates we can open for pick up and drop off! It now is a safe space for our school age kids to roam! Schedule a tour today and check out our new space!

Who Are We:
The School Age Team- At Small Characters we are very fortunate to have a great school age team that has been together for years. Our team consists of our teachers-Jen Moss and Honza Zimmerman who both hold an early childhood teaching credential. Our school age team is led by Andrew Harrison who is also the owner of Small Characters Learning Center. Our staff has had extensive training in social emotional learning techniques, trauma-informed practices, child development and more. We are passionate about providing a safe, warm and fun place for our students to unwind after school and build trusting relationships with adults.
