The Colorado Universal Preschool Program opens for Fall 2026 enrollment on December 9th for currently enrolled families. Winter Break Camp-Open for Enrollment
We are currently enrolling 3–12-year-olds for Winter Break 2025! It is from 12/22/25 to 1/6/26. We will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We will close at 3 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. There is room in our preschool program as well as our school age program. We have lots of fun activities and field trips planned! Summer Camp 2026- Start Planning Now!
It’s never too early to plan for Summer Camp! At Small Characters we are busy getting things ready for an amazing summer and we want your family to be a part of it! Mark your calendars! Summer Camp 2026 will open for enrollment to current full-time families on February 1st! Part-time and returning families will be able to enroll starting February 15th and enrollment will open to everyone on March 1st. Universal Preschool Opens in December for Fall 2026!
We have added half day (9-noon) 5 day a week spots in our current UPK program. This is for kids who turned 4 before October 1, 2025. We have a limited number of these spots immediately available. Families will need their child to attend 5 days a week (Monday thru Friday). Please click on the button below to enroll!

Fall Open House
Join us for our Fall Open House on November 9th from 10-2 pm. Take a tour, meet our school age and preschool teachers and learn more about our Thanksgiving and Winter Break Camps as well as our 3–5-year-old preschool programs.

Small Characters Playground Fundraiser
Our annual fall fundraiser is back! We will be selling Butter Braids from 10/20 to 11/12 with delivery at Small Characters on 11/18. We are fundraising for improvements to our playground. This is going to be a big project, and we would appreciate the support!
