What kind of training do the employees receive?
Each employee receives proper training in childcare development and basic learning needs. In addition, our staff are all trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Universal Precaution - as well as other basic safety and health training. We are also trained and able to assist in Medication Administration and Delegation.
What is your employee's level of experience?
All our employees have previous experience working with children, including various child care or educational services. Our team has a great commitment to the learning and development of children.
Will there be the same staff every day?
Small Characters understands the importance of consistency in relationships. Our employees may vary daily, but we prioritize the communication of all special needs or requirements for the children that attend our center.
Will there be any specialists brought in for specific activities?
Yes, we value a commitment to learning more about our community and developing new skills. We have special workshops occasionally scheduled to promote dynamic learning. Please contact us for more information or to receive a current calendar.

How does our scheduling work?
We do our scheduling monthly and we charge per day! We value the importance of flexibility in scheduling and we are here to help! We don't have any minimum days per week or anything. Schedules are always changing for families and we want to be the least of your worries!
